FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the minimum age for a child to participate in a laser tag game?
8 years – indoor arena.
12 years – outdoor arena.
How many people are needed to make a reservation at Laser Tag Poznań?
Minimum 4 people – indoor arena. Up to 16 people play in one game at the same time. Larger groups play in a tournament format: up to 24 people – 3 teams, up to 32 people – 4 teams.
The indoor arena can also take a group of up to 48 people (e.g. a school class) – you then play 2 tournaments of 3 teams each. It is possible, but for a comfortable game we recommend groups of up to 32 people indoors and larger groups on the outdoor arena.
Minimum 12 people – outdoor arena. We play there in groups of up to 48 people, from 1 April to 30 September.

How to enter the Laser Tag Poznań training room?
Enter through the large black gate of Fort Va, above which there is a sign reading Zwischenwerk Bonin. Pass through the cobbled part of the corridor (there are rooms and restrooms to the left and right) and continue straight ahead down a long corridor (with a concrete floor).
You’ll reach an area with red tape and military crates – this is the start of the Laser Tag arena. There’s a sign with our logo under the ceiling here. Taking a few steps into the game area, on the left you’ll find the door to the “training room.”
If your reserved time is about to start – you can enter.
If you arrived 20 minutes early – you’ll usually need to wait in the corridor in front of the game arena. Before your reservation starts, it’s a good idea to take a relaxed walk to the restroom 🙂 Please divide into teams beforehand.
What to bring for a laser tag game?
Definitely bring drinking water.
Optionally: bring a change of shirt if needed after the game.
How to dress for laser tag?
Preferably in sportswear, like for running. Or something reasonably comfortable, like for a walk (especially for outdoor games).
Required: shoes with a grippy sole for outdoor play.
Can the reservation start later if some participants are late?
Unfortunately no – we have a tight schedule with many bookings and cannot delay the start time.
We recommend arriving early. Before your reservation starts, you can use the restroom and wait for the rest of the group. Enter the training room at the scheduled reservation time.
After the game, we have a party room or a campfire area. When can we go there and prepare refreshments?
Usually 20 minutes before the end of the game.
For example, if your game time is booked from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, you can go to the room or campfire area at 5:40 PM to prepare the cake, plates, utensils, or sausages.
What does the laser tag reservation process look like?
Each reservation consists of:
- Game briefing, team division, and arena overview (about 20 minutes indoors, about 30 minutes outdoors)
- Gameplay (selected duration)
Post-game results (about 10 minutes indoors, about 20 minutes outdoors)
Is the briefing and the results session always required?
You may skip the results session.
However, the pre-game briefing cannot be skipped. Even if everyone has played before and already knows the rules and the arena, you still need time to divide into teams and put on the laser tag equipment. This time can be shortened slightly, but not fully removed.
What will I learn during the briefing?
The instructor explains how the equipment works – the replica gun, headband, and respawn. You learn how to hold the replica, how to use the sight (red dot), and which game mode will be played in the first round.
You’ll also learn how to behave during the game – what is allowed and what isn’t. The instructor shows where the respawns are and which areas of the arena are permitted or off-limits.
Do the game settings change during gameplay?
You can play the whole session in one game mode if you have a favorite. However, most games use a mix of modes, e.g., two rounds in DPS mode, two rounds in Scout mode, etc.
Are there different weapons to choose from?
We have various replica models, but they typically operate on identical settings during gameplay. This ensures that no weapon is “better” or “worse.”
For first-time players, having everyone use the same configuration makes the experience easier and fairer.
What do the laser tag results include?
Several sheets containing:
- a team summary: total score and accuracy,
- badges awarded to selected players,
- a ranking table of all players (from best to lowest score),
individual scorecards (all scoring details and 1-on-1 duels).
Where can I find the laser tag results?
On the results website wyniki.lasertagpoznan.pl – choose the date and time of your game. You will find a table of all players, team results, badges, certificates and a PDF file.
How many teams do we divide into?
It depends on the arena and the number of players:
- on the outdoor arena we always play in 2 teams,
- on the indoor arena in 2 teams – up to 16 players,
- 3 teams (tournament) – up to 24 players,
- 4 teams (tournament) – up to 32 players,
- up to 48 players – 2 tournaments of 3 teams each.
Do we have to divide into teams ourselves?
We recommend it. Ideally before the game, while everyone is gathering, or even earlier. You can also do it after the briefing in the training room, but it’s best to plan teams in advance—it can be a tricky task!
Can we change teams during the game?
We do not recommend it. Most games are score-based, and results are more accurate when teams remain unchanged.
We have 4–16 people. Which laser tag option should we choose?
Any of the following, although we suggest:
- 60-minute reservation (30 min of play) – for smaller groups,
- 90-minute reservation (60 min of play) – the most universal and most popular option,
- 120-minute reservation (90 min of play) – for groups that enjoy intense play.
We have 17–24 people. Which option should we choose?
Indoors: 90-minute reservation (3×15 min tournament) or 120-minute reservation (6×15 min tournament).
90-minute reservation (3×15 min tournament) is recommended:
- for younger players (8–11 years),
- if you have limited time (the whole reservation takes 90 min),
- if the age range of the players is very wide, e.g. 8–35 or 25–60 years.
120-minute reservation (6×15 min tournament) is recommended:
- for older children (12+ years),
- for school trips, as it is a universal game time,
- for company events with a similar age range, e.g. 25–45 years.
A 120-minute reservation indoors takes as long as an outdoor reservation, so if the group meets the age requirement (12+) and the weather is good on the day, you can also choose the outdoor arena – 120-minute reservation (60 min of play).
We have 25–32 people. Which option should we choose?
Best: a 180-minute reservation indoors (6×20 min tournament). Alternatively, 2 separate 60-minute reservations (30 min of play each).
180-minute reservation (6×20 min tournament) is recommended for:
- school trips,
- company events.
This is a little longer than an outdoor reservation, so if the group meets the age requirement (12+) and the weather is good on the day, you can also choose the outdoor arena – 120-minute reservation (60 min of play). You will then finish earlier.
You can also split into 2 separate groups (up to 16 people each): the first group plays while the second one waits 60 min in the party room, then they swap.
We recommend this solution for:
- younger children on day camps,
- school trips with a limited budget,
- company events with a very wide age range, e.g. 25–60 years.
Why is the minimum group size 4 people?
Because the game requires at least two teams. Laser tag is a team sport and works best as a group activity.
Why is the minimum group size outdoors 12 people?
Because the outdoor arena is very large—over 4300 m², the biggest in Poznań.
A smaller group wouldn’t fully enjoy the space.
Why is the maximum number of participants 48? Can more people join?
We can divide up to 48 players into two groups of 24 and run two separate tournaments.
That’s also the capacity of the party room.
I have 100 people. Can I organize laser tag for them?
Yes, on a suitable playing field—but not all at once. The event would consist of several separate games for smaller groups. The format depends on the terrain and available time.
Are small reservations combined with other groups?
No, we do not combine different groups.
You must come with at least 4 people for indoor games.
I don’t have enough people. Can I join an existing group?
Yes – we regularly run open games that you can sign up for individually. Details are on the Open games page.
Open game participants are a mixed group: newcomers and experienced players, children and adults.
Children aged 10+ can sign up – children under 15 come with a parent who either plays too or stays on site for the whole game.
There is a briefing before every game, and teams are balanced: experienced players are mixed with first-timers.
How do I sign up for an open game?
By calling or writing to us, or directly in our Facebook group, where we run sign-ups for open games. More information is on the Open games page. Group link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2710242425884932/
What should I wear indoors?
Sporty clothing: T-shirt + sweatshirt, long pants. Dark colors recommended (black, brown, navy, grey). Sports shoes.
Thermal wear or workout clothing works very well.
Bring water and a spare T-shirt.
What should I wear outdoors?
Sporty clothing: T-shirt + sweatshirt, long pants. Military-style colors recommended (brown, green, grey). Thermal or workout clothing works well; camouflage is even better.
Shoes with good grip.
Bring plenty of water, a spare T-shirt, and mosquito repellent (especially in summer).
We booked an outdoor game but the weather is bad—what happens now?
If the weather does not allow play on the outdoor arena, we move the game to the indoor arena. Both arenas are at the same address, so the switch is easy. We adjust the game format to the group size:
- up to 24 people – a 3-team tournament; e.g. a group of 21 people gets a 120-minute reservation indoors (6×15 min tournament) instead of a 120-minute reservation outdoors (60 min of play),
- 25–32 people – a 4-team tournament, 180-minute reservation,
- 33–48 people – 2 tournaments, 90-minute reservation each (180 min in total).
We booked a campfire but the weather is bad—what happens now?
We switch the campfire to the indoor party room.
If planning a campfire long in advance, check the weather closer to the date and buy food on the day of the event to avoid waste.
What is included in the party room rental?
Room with fireplace, kettle, tables, and benches.
What is included in the campfire field rental?
Bonfire setup, firewood, sausage sticks, tables, and benches.
A grill stand is available upon request.
Can younger siblings come to the game or birthday party?
Yes.
However, children under 7 (preferably under 8) do not participate in the game. They may stay in the training room with parents and can shoot at a practice target under instructor supervision.
Can parents wait somewhere during the game?
Yes—in the training room for a small number of parents.
Larger groups or parents wishing to have refreshments should book the party room during the game (extra charge, limited availability).
Which calendar slots are available for reservation?
White/empty fields.
Navy fields = fully paid reservations.
Turquoise fields = provisional reservations awaiting payment.
Can I book directly through the online calendar?
No, it is only for viewing availability.
You must call or message us to make a reservation.
What information should I include when sending an email?
deally, please include approximately how many people will attend.
If it’s a children’s birthday party, please mention their age.
If already decided, include the chosen game duration, the date and time, and whether the game should take place indoors or outdoors.
It’s also helpful to specify whether you would like to reserve the party room or the campfire area after the game.
Can booked time slots free up?
Yes, occasionally.
Can I receive an invoice instead of a receipt?
Yes—please request it before making the payment.
Do you organize day camps for children?
We don’t organize them ourselves, but sports clubs and schools often bring camp groups to our venue.
Is laser tag dangerous for the eyes?
No. The equipment uses infrared beams—like a TV remote. Invisible and harmless.
Do I need protective gear?
No.
Do players receive special outfits?
No. You play in your own (ideally sporty) clothing.
Is laser tag difficult?
Not if you listen to the briefing and the instructor’s guidance.
Can girls play laser tag?
Of course! We frequently host birthday parties for all-girls groups.
Do video games help you play better?
Yes and no.
They may help you understand game modes and stats, but aiming in real life is completely different.
Can people with disabilities play?
Absolutely. We host games for wheelchair users and deaf players.
If you’re unsure whether a limitation might interfere with gameplay, call us and ask.
Does Laser Tag Poznań have multiple arenas or locations?
No. Both our indoor and outdoor arenas are at one address:
Fort Va, Lechicka 59, Poznań (Piątkowo).
Other addresses = different companies.
